i am trying to derivate a speed profile with a fixed step size of 0.005 sec, but after the derivation the time step size increases to 1 second. I have set, in the Model settings, the timestep size to be 0.05 but without any success. does anybody know how to fix this?
the result I'm expecting is a discrete signal with the same step size as the original signal

Hello,
Sorry I did not see the full screenshot at the first time. Depending on your model you can also sample time issue (atomic subsystem configured with a different sample time or many other specific cases).
But it can also be the 'Decimation' parameter of your Scope ?

Hi @Darius,
I believe you want to compute the discrete-time derivative of the speed profile. However, I cannot verify the alleged 1-second time step from your image. Could you clarify that?
