Why is my plot not showing anything

Your plot command is using lower case w and your data is upper case W. Same for Z.

Also, Plot() is not the same as plot() since roughly MATLAB 4

I've corrected that now

w= [1:5] z= [2:2:10] plot(w,z) It's still not plotting
