Some buttons in app designer are not responding when packaged as a standalone desktop app (.exe extension)

I am working on an image and video processing app which is working alright in the matlab app designer with .mlapp extension.However when I packaged the app as a standalone desktop app some buttons mainly associated with video processing are not working. The code for the Play button that I have used is pasted below.
