how to model the stochastic nature of a source on a 300 second time horizon, with one second resolution in Simulink. Initial value of signal is 500 W/m^2? What source should I use?

Hi Dusan,
To model a stochastic source on a 300 second time horizon with one second resolution in Simulink, Use "Gaussian Random Number" block. It generates random numbers from a normal distribution with a mean of "zero" and a standard deviation of "one". You can scale the output of the block using the "Gain" block to match the desired mean and standard deviation of your source.
For more information regarding "Gaussian Random Number" block, Kindly refer Random Number Block.
I hope it helps.
