Utilisation of the event command

I'd like to create a script that is going to use an ode45 function. But this function can change because of the variables. I heard you need to use the Event Command but I can't find a proper example on the Internet. Can you give me one or a little explanation about how it works and how to use it ?

Hi Martin,

could you explain in some more detail what you mean by "this function can change because of the variables". Do you mean, that the function you integrate with ode45 can have jumps that should be told to the ode45 function?
