Why in phased.Pha​seShiftBea​mformer doesnt change results, when change antennas element

In phased.PhaseShiftBeamformer i would like select cosine antenna elemets, but set of antennas properties dont influence in out resuting and it is the same when i use isotropic antennas. In particular, in the simulink blocks the same problem.

The question is, why is this functionality not hidden from the user if it does not affect anything, and if it does, then what when installed in this block?
