If i have a cad model of a system and i import this into Simscape multibody, and i would like to convert this into a state-space model in matlab, can this be done?
I have a complex shape i would like to have an linear estimation of the drag of this shape, and i was told that simscape properly could convert from the cad to state space.
hope someone can help.

You can use several of the linearization options in MATLAB to obtain a state space representation of your Simscape Multibody model.
