How BLER and SINR are linked in 5G toolbox examples and at what point should the SINR be calculated during DL transmission? after demodulation?

I wanted to calculate SINR in a multicell scenario. I am not sure if BLER provides any info about SINR or not. If not, then at what stage should the SINR be measured. When the waveform is received after applying channel model and noise etc, the resultant received signal is further processed and demodulated. Where should the SINR be measured?

It will be helpful in assisting you better, if you can share the examples link in which you have seen the relation between BLER and SINR.

Further, I think it is generally suitable to measure SINR after performing impairment corrections, timing/frequency offset correction and other corrections as defined in specific receiver chain. Also, it is performed before demodulation.
