I am new to SimBiology, and I noticed that in addition to the normal Straight lines showing reactions, there are dotted lines connecting reactions to species in some models built via simbiology. (It is not the dashed dotted line of d/dt). can some one tell me what those lines indicate?

Hi,
Could it be that you mean dashed lines?
dashed lines indicate that a species is both a reactant and a product of a reaction, e.g. an enzyme.
Best,
