GUI PUSH BUTTON HELP

I have created a code using GUI that will display a graph of free body diagrams of the 7 parts of the building (CIVIL ENGINEERING STUDENT HERE). Also I have placed 3 push buttons - Moment of Inertia at Origin, Summation of Forces, and Details about the said part. Now my problem is I could not make the push button work, I do not know where to place my separate m-file for the formula and computation of the 3 push buttons. please help. and the version of MATLAB I have is 2009

hey uhm, Im trying to directly just show the answer when the user clicks the button I want it to appear that I am asking for a mass and then it will compute for what is required... i really am confused

There's not much point just vaguely saying you are confused. Show what relevant code you have and which part is not working if you want a prompt and helpful answer.

Try to give only the details relevant to the problem though to keep it clearer.
