Why port type doesn't show up in simulink?

Hi.

I've been developing a project on Simulink 2017a.

And I tried to show up port data type as documentation instructed.

I checked 'Port data type' and 'port data type display format > base and alias types'.

Also made sure port has data type, not configured as auto.

But a port type still doesn't appear.

How can I fix this?

Data types may not appear on signal lines immediately after setting Display - Signal & Ports - Port Data Types. In the case of that, run or update the model (Ctrl+T or Ctrl+B or Ctrl+D).
