Unable to change active contour method in Image Segmenter app

Hi,

I seem to have lost the ability to change the active contour method in the Image Segmenter app. The edge-based method is not available. I am not sure if this is due to the menu truncation shown above or otherwise. I have tried changing the screen resolution and application font sizes to no avail. I am using MATLAB 2022a Upgrade 3 on Windows 10 Pro and have tried it on a Macbook Pro running Big Sur with the same results.

Any suggestions?

I have tried to reproduce the behaviour of the active contour method in the Image Segmenter app in the similar setup. However, I did not face the issue. Please note that the “Method” tab do not show drop down box, you will need to click on the name of the method to toggle between Edge-based and Region-based approach.
