File Solid : Face not recognize as a geometric feature

Hello,
I am using SImulink multibody and I want to create a frame on a File Solid that I import. The import is going well but after when I select the face where I want to "Based on Geometric Feature", it says that I did not selected it ("You did not select a geometric feature. To define the frame origin based on a geometric feature, first select a feature and then click Use Selected Feature." ) what I did, I click on it and it appears blue (see picture attached). The problem happens on somes faces but not all. If I click on edge it work all the time.
I import my 3D part in STEP format or SLPRT.
Thank you for your help

The diagnostic is trying to tell you that you need to click on the button "Use Selected Feature". It is right next to the radio button "Based on Geometric Feature" in the screenshot above.

Hello Steve,
It is after I click on the button "Use Selected Feature" that the error message appear. When I select an edge instead of a face it work all the time

When you select a face, it should place the frame and show the frame location to you. Can you see the frame? If you can, the Use Selected Feature button should work. If you can share the CAD file with me, I can check it.

No I can't see the frame (as you can see on the picture on the first comment).
Sorry I can't share the CAD file on the forum as it belongs to my factory. It is a large file with several parts on it (when I tried to delete the parts and keeps only 2, it works, I see the frame and I can select the "use selected feature" button). I tried to export it in STEP or leave it in SLDPRT and experience the same issue.
