How can I find the points of tangency in red, with the aid of an automatic procedure?

Define "red". If you want an automated procedure, that implies that you have many images. Do they share an identical color map?

Now the red points were found with interactive functions with the operator. I was wondering if for different pressure maps it was possible to have a single automatic procedure that found these points.
