Issue in figure using M1 pro chip

Hi,

I see a very annoying issue when using a figure or any GUI interface in MATLAB.

It is very slow and does not respond very well to my comments.

Does anyone has the same issue or solving this issue

Note: I am uing macbook pro 14" with Apple M1 Pro chip.

Sorry for the delay - I just noticed your question. I've asked developers at MathWorks if they can help. In the meantime, could you share as much detail as you can? I think the following might be helpful:

• What release of MATLAB are you using?
• What version of macOS?
• A specific example of an action you take an what happens/how long it takes (ex: I type >>figure and it takes 10 seconds).

I just got word from our Mac guru that her guess is that you are hitting the same issue as in this Answer:
