read/write csv file

Hello,

Is it possible to read a specific range1 in a csv file AND write a specific range2 in the same file WITHOUT altering the range1

Like an 'append' option for csvwrite or xlswrite

prefere csv rather than xlsx (had many problems with xlsx format before)

dlmwrite() offers the option -append . Note, however, that this is restricted to writing additional rows immediately after all existing rows.

writematrix() offers the option 'writemode', 'append' . Note, however, that this is restricted to writing additional rows immediately after all existing rows.

The technology of the representation of text files does not permit selected parts of a file to be overwritten -- not without rewriting the entire file.
