How to read and store table.

I have Matlab code (2014a) which I plan to compile using deploytool. The code will read a data file, analyze it, and then compare the values to a table of control limits.
My table of control limits is an '.xlsx' file (controlLim.xlsx), which I read into Matlab using readtable. I would like to embed the controlLim.xlsx file within the compiled code, so Matlab is not re-reading this file every time the code runs.
What is the best way to do this?
