How to export a 3d surface to Ansys apdl?

I want to export a complex geomtery from matlab to ansys apdl for meshing. For example how can i import the sphere shown below to ansys for further processing. The geometry is very complex, i am using shpere only for illutration purpose.

You can try checking this answer How to export 3D spheres (3D plot) generated in Matlab to ANSYS or Abaqus. ? - (mathworks.com) This provides a workaround to export the MATLAB meshes into stl files.
