What is the difference of 'Low' and 'High' image distortion in Camera Calibrator App

In Matlab R2021b, thers is a new property named 'Image distortion', what does this means? What is the difference of 'Low' and 'High'

When an image is distorted, straight lines in the image appear to be curved. Image distortion is typically high in cameras with wide-angle lens such as fish-eye cameras. Therefore, set this property to "high" only if your camera has a wide-angle lens.

The calibrator app calls the detectCheckerboardPoints function to detect the checkerboard corner points. This distortion property setting is equivalent to setting the "HighDistortion" boolean Name-Value pair in the detectCheckerboardPoints function call.
