Scope data to App Designer variable

Hi,

Inside a simulink model, I have a scope which tracks a theta angle. I know that the measurment can be exported to the workspace as an array, but I want to link in directly to a variable in App Designer.

Does anyone know if it is possible?

I believe it can be done since I am writting values from the app designer to the simulink model.
