Intersecting Rectangles from Two Matrices

I have two matfiles A and B containg the X,Y width and height of rectangles. Now i want to find out if any of the rectangles in B intersects with any of the rectangles in A. If there is a interesection I want to keep it,else discard the rectangle from B. Is there a simple way to do this ? Is there any Boolean operation function existing in Matlab ?

The rectint function will probably do what you want.
