Tramsnission and Reception of Audio using ZC706 and ad9361 (SDR)- Reg.

Hi,

We are using zc706 and fmcomms3 eval boards for SDR application, can you please provide the reference Simulink design for Audio application to transmit and recieve Audio using zc706 & FMCOMMS3 boards. Do you have any example to test the SDR with Audio.

Hi Karthik,

Unfortunately, Communications Toolbox Support Package for Xilinx Zynq-Based Radio does not include any examples specifically for Transmission & Reception of audio. However, the following SDR examples may help:

• FM Broadcast Receiver (Simulink) - This could be adapted to use AD936x Receiver block for your ZC706.
• Capture RF Data to Baseband File Using Analog Devices AD9361/AD9364 (MATLAB) - This demonstrates how to capture, decode & playback FM transmissions from the SDR.
• The HW/SW Co-Design examples illustrate how to partition an algorithm across the FPGA and ARM, such as a QPSK Transceiver. You could take inspiration from this to target an audio algorithm to your ZC706 radio.
