Hi
I have send to neural network newsgroup to question regarding it before 1 years. Since matlab displays my email address, how can i hide the email address from previous message? I have received several threads since it display my email address.
Thank you to know how to get rid of these trouble.

I'm not quite sure I understand where you mean by "Matlab displays my email address". Do you mean the software itself or this forum? And what kind of emails are you talking about? Obviously my e-mail address is linked to my mathworks account for downloading software and using here (though I hide it like most do on here), but apart from the odd email from someone on Matlab answers which comes from the 'Contact Adam' anonymous e-mail link in my profile the only emails I get are concerned with Mathworks webinars or upgrades etc.

Can we get the ambiguous grammar figured out? When you say "I have send to neural network newsgroup" do you mean "I have to send to a neural network newsgroup", meaning that you need to send something there in the future? Or do you mean "I have sent to a neural network newsgroup" using "sent" instead of "send" meaning it is something that you have already done in the past? Basically, what newsgroup/forum was the old posting(s) in, and what newsgroup/forum are the new posting(s) going to be in? It's not clear.

MathWorks does not reveal your email to anyone.
Someone can send an email to the address on your profile, but that is done anonymously. Your address is not revealed (unless you choose to reply, and therefore reveal it yourself).

Instead of giving the exact link to your prior post that has your email address in it, just copy and paste the part you want people to see to your new posting in the new forum or newsgroup. So instead of saying "in my post http://www.nnposts.com/discussion/whatever, I said......." just say "Previously, in different newsgroup posting, I said......." and then paste in what you want them to see. Then they might not ever find out, unless they went to the trouble of trying to do a web search for your words.

If it's on the Answers forum and you put your email in the body of the message, you (or I) can edit the posting to remove it. If you want me to do it, let me know the link to the Answers forum question.
