Matlab files and licensing

Hello, I'm currently running arch linux, and am thinking about hopping distros to artix. My only issue is that I live with a very slow internet connection, and it would be a pain to download matlab again.
Is it possible for me to copy the files to another disk and then install it using those, or will that cause licensing issues? If I can copy them over, are there any extra files I need to copy, or just the ones in /usr/local/MATLAB?

Hello,
It is expected that you will run into some issues if you try to move the MATLAB installation from one drive to another. Please refer to this answer which explains about the issues that may occur. Also refer to this documentation which guides through the multiple available options for installing MATLAB.
