What are the parameters which should be selected to choose camera for lane detection system?

I would have considered
  • Resolution of camera (usually 5 MP or more)
  • Image Stabilization
  • White balance

have any preference for brand? some are not so suitable for Matlab to install or identify. so which brand maybe better
