can i give binary output from MATLAB function block directly to turn on ideal switches

Iam getting binary output (for ex: 001, 010 etc) based on logic given in MATLAB function block. When i give these binary output directly to gate of ideal switches the switches are not turning on instantly and by the time switches are ON the binary output from function block changes. can someone please help me how to rectify this problem.
