Help to calculate volume intersection between two ellipsoid

Hello, can you help me finding a way to calculate the volume intersection between two ellipsoid?I would have also need help to calculate che center of mass (or centroid) of the resulting volume.

I think I remember prior discussions saying that an analytical solution could be tough - very mathematically complicated. Would you be willing to digitize your ellipse into voxels and get a numerical solution? That would be comparatively easy with binary operations such as "&" and regionprops().

Leo, this seems unrelated. Well it may be related, but I don't have the slightest idea what you're asking. Maybe you should try using a CT or MRI scanner. They're built for exactly that purpose.
