Reading and writing the text of a text document image.

I am working on text images. I want to read the text of a text document image and after modify the contents wants to write the text on the same position. Image is attached in the attachment. Please help.

Play around with the various options in the ocr() function in the Computer Vision System Toolbox.

ocr() works but it adds some symbols like \ , etc and also alter words like have to haw.

Like I said "Play around with the various options". Did you read the documentation? You can specify a character set to limit the choices to.
