How to set path to teamshare folder on linux?

I am currently using ubuntuOS. I am having trouble setting the path to a teamshare folder (remote server) as when I go to "Preferences" -> "General" -> and then try to set a path to a teamshare folder, there is no option to. I also tried setting a path to the teamshare folder by just copying the address but it does not recognize that. Is there a way to set the path to the teamshare folder?
