how to CODE graph coloring issues using MATLAB?

i came across following issues while code graph coloring; 1) how to find vertices which are connected to edges with the highest total weight in the graph?
2) How to find proper color which is allotted to least weight in the graph?
3) How to find neighbors of colored node?
your help would be highly appreciated.
