Plotting in matlab over a rectangular domain

How would one go about plotting this equation? I know it has something to do with meshgrid or mesh/surf command. Sketch the graph z=9-x^2 -y^2 in three dimensional space over the rectangular domain, {(x,y):-3<=x,y<=3}

Why don't you read "doc mesh" etc... to see how those commands work. You might even find examples there very similar to the assignment.
