M file for Neural Network

is there any m-files written exist for neural network ? instead of doing it in the toolbox ?

Look in the File Exchange. The classic text by Simon Haykin, Neural Networks: A Comprehensive Foundation, 2e book Companion Software is there, and doesn’t mention the Neural Network Toolbox as a requirement. (The first edition was my introduction to neural nets. We wrote all our own software.)

thank you so much , i am just really a begginer , i also found another one also , still so many files to read , just as my first question , if my input after training would be a 6x6 matrix and what i get should be arow matrix , is this possible

That depends entirely on the architecture of the network you programmed. Considering the varieties of network architectures, I would say yes.

@Andrey — It would probably be necessary to do a DuckDuckGo search for 'Simon Haykin' and see what comes up. This post was from more than eight years ago, so there are likely updates to it as well. See for example Neural Networks and Learning Machines, 3rd edition - Pearson (2011) although this is not the same text I referred to, it also has software available. (I have not done anything with neural nets in a while, however when I did, I considered Haykin’s texts the best avaialble.)

I have the files I referred to here saved (transported across multiple computers over time) however I am not certain that it would be appropriate (or legal) for me to share them. I also have the textbook.
