Creating a point mesh with an arbitrarily shaped hole

Hello, I want to create a point mesh (such as the result of meshgrid) for the area around an arbitrary shape, in this case an airfoil. I want to do this so I can simulate the flow over an airfoil by finding the velocity at a point using my panel code, but I can't seem to find a good way to create the mesh such that any points within the airfoil are NaN. Any suggestions?
