will change in resolution of an image affect the detection of its centroids?

Hello! When I try to display an image at 1024x768 , I get a warning message saying "Image is too big to fit on screen; displaying at 67%" and I get an image whose resolution is 804x566 pixels. Now when I am trying to detect the centroid of the image, it will not be accurate as the image resolution has changed from 1024x768 to 804x566 right?

That is not correct. You will get the same centroid from regionprops() or whatever method you used to measure it regardless of the size of the displayed image. It is measured from the actual array variable in memory, not from what is displayed on screen. Feel comfortable - don't worry.

Then look over the demos in the online documentation for the toolbox. Thanks for accepting the answer.
