(accepted) Matlab standard programming

I'm writing a program for a research company and they have asked me to state the set of standards my program(ing) adheres to. I searched around and I couldn't find standards for coding in matlab like the ones that exist for c++. Does anyone know about any accepted standards for matlab? Many thanks.
