Finding which curve is which.

I am plotting a series of curves through an iteration. Once the plotting is done I am unable to fine which curve resulted from which iteration.

Is there a command or procedure to find that out.

Roshan, use a legend, which gives you the information right in the plot. As an example:

 x   = 0:0.1:pi;
 lab = [];
 hold all
 for ii = 1:4
     plot(x,rand(1,length(x))+sin(x),'-*')
     lab{ii} = strcat('iteration: ',num2str(ii)); 
 end
 legend(lab);
