Ajax interface to Google Scholar html

Can anyone please point me at Matlab code that accesses Google Scholar, returning the html for analysis? From http://code.google.com/p/citations-gadget/ I understand that this is possible.

I found a submission on File Exchange that access Google Scholar: http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/9710-h-index

From the description of citations-gadget, it seems like you should be able to implement similar functionality using the URLREAD function.

Thanks. Because of the date of this submission, it probably uses the SOAP interface which had been provided by Google, but which has now been withdrawn. I understand there is an AJAX based interface. Google will not allow the use of urlread for aitmated access.
