Why do I receive an error message about an incorrectly built binary on my Linux system when starting the network license manager?
I receive the following error when starting the network license manager on my RedHat 9 Linux system:
Incorrectly built binary which accesses errno, h_errno or _res directly.
Needs to be fixed.

This message is due to an incompatibility between the FLEXlm lmgrd binary and the GLibC version 2.3 libary from RedHat 9.0. This message is merely informational and can be safely ignored.
If the license manager is not running properly, there is most likely another cause. If this is the case, please search for other error messages in the log file and contact support@mathworks.com.
