glibc 2.3 の Linux で MATLAB を使用しています。MATLAB を起動すると以下のようなメッセージが出ます。
ERROR: Warning: Unable to load Java Runtime Environment: /opt/matlab6p1/sys/java/jre/glnx86/jre/lib/i386/native_threads/libjava.so: symbol __libc_wait, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference.
Warning: Disabling Java support.
MATLAB は起動しますがテキストモードになります。

MATLAB 7.0 (R14) と MATLAB 6.x は glibc 2.3 ライブラリを持つ Linux では動作が確認されておらず、システム要件を満たしておりません。ご利用可能なシステム要件の詳細は、以下の URL にて確認できます。
