Why do I get the following error when trying to run the MATLAB Web Server?
ERROR: The procedure entry point mxSerialize could not be located in the dynamic link library libmx.dll

This error indicates that you might have two different versions of MATLAB installed, and the $MATLAB\bin\win32 folder of the older version is defined first on your system path environment variable ($MATLAB refers to your root MATLAB directory).
To correct this problem, make sure that the $MATLAB\bin\win32 directory for the latest
version of MATLAB is defined first on your system path.
For information on setting your system path, please take a look the attached solution
For Windows 2000,
1) Right Click on My Computer icon.
2) Select Properties
3) Click on the Advanced tab
4) Click on the Environment Variables... button
5) Select the Path System variable
6) Click on the Edit Button
