I install V-Realm using the following command at the MATLAB command prompt on a Windows 7 machine.
vrinstall -install editor
I get the following warning message on executing the above command
Warning: Cannot create V-Realm Builder preferences file. Object libraries may not be available.
>In vrinstall at 190
This also limits access of 3-D Objects Library in V-Realm Builder 2.0 to only those in the “General Purpose” category. I am wondering how can I get access to all of the 3-D objects built into V-Realm Builder’s Objects Library.

On Windows 7 installing any software requires administrative privileges.
In order to install V-Realm Builder through MATLAB please follow these steps
1. Start MATLAB with administrator privileges. To do this right click on MATLAB icon and select 'Run as Administrator'
2. Execute the following command at the MATLAB command prompt
vrinstall -install editor
