Alternative Simulink Slider Gain Block
This submission restores the look, feel and behavior of the "Classic" Gain Slider as well as adding some useful features to it.

The ability to adjust parameters while a Simulink model is executing is one of Simulink's unique features. Whether your tuning a PID loop or tuning in a radio signal, this feature is quite useful and it works in both simulation mode as well as while the model is executing on hardware using External Mode.
The "Slider Gain" block, found in the Simulink Math Operations Library, is a tool for adjusting path gain using a simple and intuitive GUI. It has been part of the Simulink Library for well over 2 decades. The implementation of this block has changed over the past few years to the point of having usability issues.
This ML Central submission restores the look, feel and behavior of the "Classic" Gain Slider as well as adding some useful features to it.
