This Live Script uses random samples from the normal distribution to explore estimates for the mean and standard deviation and methods to calculate associated confidence intervals in case the mean or standard deviation or both are unknown.
The script may interest students and instructors in physics and other fields. 'Try this' suggestions and hyperlinks to documentation are included for further exploration.
