This zip file has a script, Bisection_w_func.m, that solves x + exp(x) = 0 using the bisection method. The script has a function, bisect, that can be used to solve other equations. The text file, MATLAB_Code_For_Bisection_Method.txt, has the same code and a sample run. The PDF is a graph of the bisection iteration history.
