Code Generation Comparison for MATLAB - ChatGPT versus Bard

Compares responses from OpenAI's ChatGPT to Google's Bard for identical code generation prompts.

OpenAI's ChatGPT can generate working or nearly working MATLAB code in response to 'plain English' prompts, and translate mathematics into code as well as translate between natural languages. [1]. Recently Google's Bard is available on a trial basis [2] and comparisons of their code generation capabilities are possible. This script provides some illustrations of ChatGPT and Bard responses to prompts for some simple MATLAB codes.
