Essential laboratory data analysis skills illustrated here include data import and export, computing means and standard deviations, histogramming, plotting and fitting, and combining data. The script also teaches a few fun things like how to encrypt messages, and how to import and play with image data. Various Try this suggestions are provided to test understanding, with solutions offered but commented out.
