How do I differentiate between various shapes when doing image recognition?
古いコメントを表示
I am working on a project called "Comets Recognition From Satellite Images".
I tried to eliminate noise using subtraction and blur by Gaussian. I have found objects in the image. The image may consist of noise such as cosmic rays, blobs etc. How could I differentiate between noise like cosmic rays from actual comets?
Any ideas would be helpful.

Capturing a cosmic ray should be an uncommon event -- and it should be completely gone in the next image. Remember, comet tracking requires looking for objects that exist in sequential images but have moved.
