Problem Mavericks OS X

Recently I update my operative system, OS X Mavericks, and Matlab don't work.
License Manager Error -9
What can I do?

You need to reactive MATLAB.
http://www.mathworks.com/support/solutions/en/data/1-JE1GKQ/ was written for Mountain Lion, but seems to apply to Mavericks too.

The problem was solved but in a not elegant way. We tried to many things but Matlab doesn't deactivate from my Mac because it said that the software never was activated in this machine. So, we just generate another license from the mathworks webpage for my mac address and this solved the problem. The question is, what happen with the other license?.
