Can I delete all or part of the archives directory?

I'm clearing hard drive space on my MacBook Pro laptop, and I noticed that /applications/MATLAB/archives takes up 2.6 GB. Is it safe to delete all or part of it, and if so, what is the best way to do that? At first glance, it looks like a lot of examples, most of which I will never use.

Hi , just wanted to get an understanding of the expectation here.
Do you want to delete these examples and want to know if it would break in the in-built or used functions or not ?

I want to know the basics of what is in that folder, and what would be the consequences of deleting it. Is all example data stored there? Do I lose all examples if I delete it? And yes, would it interfere with the normal functioning of MATLAB in any way?
