matlab color matrix,problems with scaling

vt=transpose(v)
imagesc(vt)
set(gca,'XTickLabel',{'1','2','3','4','5','6','7','8','9','10'}, 'FontSize',24)
set(gca,'YTickLabel',{'0.15','0.35','0.55','0.75','0.95','1.15','1.35'}, 'FontSize',24)
xlabel('width(km)')
ylabel('length(km)')
I have a problem,model is 106kmX14km but the image I got does not have the same proportions.How to solve this?

Try setting the xdata and ydata properties of the axes, something like (untested)
image(vt, 'xdata', 1:106, 'ydata', 1:14);

Use
axis equal;
after you call image or imagesc.
